KA-Boom Steak and Fish Restaurant was founded in 2024 by Jace Bowden, a passionate advocate for fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced food. Seeing a gap in Helston for reasonably priced, proper portions of unfussy, high-quality meals, Jace set out to create a welcoming dining experience. With his background in the seafood industry as the owner of Kernow Fish, he ensures that every dish features the freshest, most traceable ingredients. KA-Boom’s ethos—Farm to Fork, Ocean to Table, Cook to Order—drives everything we do, delivering outstanding flavour while supporting local suppliers and ethical, sustainable food practices.
